San Diego????
When we go anywhere for a length of time, we try to rent condos instead of hotels so we can keep breakfast, drinks and snacks. It is just really a more comfortable environment for my family of five and most of the time cheaper than an actual hotel room. So as usual, we checked in to the place to get the keys and the rules (there are always rules). The rules are usually something like, don't throw loud parties, no dressing animals in mini skirts, no smoking, and stuff that makes sense.
Our condo was amazing. On the picture it is on the top, far right, the set of 3 windows under the railing. 11th story, WOW. Since we were in the corner we had two more sets of floor to ceiling windows. In the main bedroom the wall that would face the ocean was solid glass. It was an amazing view... but the rules were goofy.
The three main ones that come to mind are:
1) You must park BETWEEN the lines. It was a common enough problem that they actually had to put it in writting.
2) There is a $100 fine if you use the stairs - Dont they eat nuts and berries and jog to work in California. Aren't they all about fitness, exercise and zen... BUT DON"T TAKE THE STAIRS!! You can ride down the elevator to go jog on the boardwalk.
3) $500 fine if you throw anything off the building. This bothered me. We had a football AND a freesbie. I couldn't chunk it off the balcony to the kids at the beach. On a good note, when John was trying to toss Zachary over, I just had to remind him that it was a $500 fine.
