WHY?

Warning... The following is obvious:

WHY do things have to be so complicated????

We have hundreds of evacuees that are going to need longer term shelter.
AND
We have a vacant hotel with 120 rooms at 2300 S. Texas Avenue.

I looked up information on the property and it is owned by a company out of California.
