My Texan Vernacular

I was privileged to be asked to take a few pictures of the VERY first BCS home football game. After all was said and done, I posted them at the schools photo site: http://www.bcsphotos.smugmug.com/ .
I was talking to the yearbook staff and was explaining how I got some of the shots and then we got to the very last photo of the entire team under the scoreboard. That was a difficult shot because it was Dark, there were sooo many people and the scoreboard lights were glaring. So I took it home and photoshopped it a bit to even out the picture. When I started to explain this picture to the kids I said "Oh, this picture was a nightmare, I had to photoshop the dog out of it!" This one boy asked...WHERE WAS THE DOG? I looked at him and said "Your not from around here are ya boy?" Nope, he was from California. I had to use the phrase in different sentences "I use the dog out of my software" and explain it for him to understand that it kinda means "ALOT".
Phew!
