We are in our new house and it is wonderful.
The cats come in the house at night, which is good cause they have caught a couple squeekins which have been released back into the wild (ergo why this post is written at 5:30AM)
Right now my biggest challenge is waiting on stupidity.
I called the local phone company ...um.. their name rhymes with Horizon.
I talked to 13 people and was transferred all over the world trying to get new service for my home.
With no success, I called the local office and talked to Jon whom gave me over to Colton. Now Colton is NOT stupid, just somewhat powerless. The way Horizon has set up their system, some guy in Dahli, India has to assign my house a code in the computer system to be able to get internet or I can't have it. I had 2 techs out here and a guy that dropped the line in the ground that "varified" my ablility to have DSL. My neighbors have DSL but my new construction is baffling Horizon.
Colton is now in my contact list. I tried to bribe him by offering to let him go down the fireman's pole but he is trying to defeat "the system". So here I sit on my husband's wireless card which I have to give back tomorrow :(
waiting on stupidity to assign a code to they can "flip a switch" to get me DSL. Sigh.......Deeper SIGH.

I still like the story of the guy on the phone in India claiming to be named Jesus (and pronouced the way we pronounce our Savior's name--not Hay-zoos)! :o)
I can just hear it now...
"Hello. This is Jesus. How may I help you?"
Boy, that guy would get an earful!
LOL!!!
Yeh, I too know the pain of dealing with stupidity at Herizon!!!
maybe you'd have saved yourself some pain if you'd have use a coupon.'
