The Torchure

Sniff... I don't even know if I can talk about this. It is so hard. I usually don't open up to everyone emotionally on the weblog but this may be the exception. I was taking pictures at an event and my camera was "acting up". It was not doing what it was suppose to and I was getting these messages. So I took it to the camera store and they said it was nothing that a good cleaning couldn't fix. So I paid them to send it off for cleaning.... So I am here... cameraless. ... All these significant moments just flitting by with no EOS to capture them. The sunset tonight was amazing - it was reflecting off the clouds of the storm moving in from the south but I will only have a fading memory in my mind of it because my camera is in some strange guys hands wearing a white suit and gloves. They said it could take 7 days for me to get it back... .7 DAYS!! I am suppose to take pictures Saturday night at a father daughter dance, I was suppose take pictures of the 3rd grade for the school, I have upwards.... WHAT AM I GOING TO DO? Next time they should just rip my left arm off and beat me half to death with it. I feel so alone. I feel so abandoned, I feel out of focus. I hold the lens and that provides me a little comfort because I can smell the camera. Why?? Why??? the injustice of it all. I can't even post NEW pictures cuz one must have a camera to take pictures in order to post them.

So here is a picture of squirrel who obviously fell from the BTU electric line and died in front of my house. There was a suspecious can of wd40 in the ditch. I am not sure the squirrel LOST his footing accidentally if you know what I mean.

I feel like this squirrel :(
