I hated Nicoles school pictures. I could go into detail about color, hair, contrast... but just know they were below par. So I decided (the rebel that I am) to just take some pictures & develop one for her school frame. I got one that was pretty good - it is nothing that I am going to submit to any photo contest. Since I only wanted a few wallets and a 5X7 I just sent it in to walgreens. When I went to pick it up they told me I needed to get a release from the photographer because the image was copyrighted. HUH?? I had to sit there and debate with them and explain that I took the picture in my backyard. Then I had to fill out a form and they said they would call me so I paid, grabbed my pictures and left. Very frustrated that there was such aggravation and turmoil over me wanting to pick up my daughter's pictures. Half way home I thought to myself... "Hey - My pictures are SOOOOOOO good that they think they are professional." - then I realized it was the camera. I had nothing to do with it. I feel like I am on an emotional rollercoaster.
