Well we made it to Kamp. The trip up was wonderful. We stopped and diamond mined in Ark. Didn't find any diamonds but got to dig in the dirt for three hours. It is 37 acres of plowed clay and there are literally hundreds of people there a day. There was little to no shade so Bigdog, the kids and I all headed for a far corner that had shade. We dug for 3 hours. We found many different types of rocks but no diamonds. By the time we left at 1 pm, there had been 5 diamonds found that day at the park. They post all the findings and sizes up on a white board. There are people there you can tell go everyday looking to hit the Mother load. I guess it is like playing the lottery. The funny thing is that the diamonds are not worth much. A 3 caret size raw diamond, if a good quality, after cut, may only be worth $150.
Here is a little known fact.... HOPE, Ark - Mr. Clinton's hometown, is the storage facility for THOUSANDS of FEMA trailers that were used during the last few hurricane disasters. There is literally a mile or more of them on a back country road that BigDog and I decided to wonder down on the way to the mines.

We made it to Kamp and Zach ran off to be a Kamper. So David, Nicole and I have been spending countless hours putt putting, swimming and hanging out at K-Kountry. Nicole went off the high dive in the deep end of the pool without a life jacket. My heart almost stopped every time she did it but the life guard were keeping a special eye on her.
Hope yall are all doing great back at home.
